I’ve been doing some thinking. With every twist and turn I take while working on the game, I feel like I’m breathing new life into it. Weekends are dedicated to this world I’m creating, and every moment spent shaping it fuels my passion. The depth of this universe, the stories within it—it’s enough to keep me going for years.
Each day, I step into this world, wandering its landscapes, searching for adventure. There are moments in life where I find joy in the simple things—sipping a generic cola and playing a classic text adventure over at the archive. Speaking of which, I’ve updated the site! The latest version, 2.1, is now available, boasting an expansive 1,152 rooms filled with characters to meet, items to collect, secrets to uncover, and, of course, the evil witch to vanquish.
This journey, with all its twists and turns, has been incredible, and I believe many of you will enjoy exploring what I’ve built. I’ve spent countless hours refining every detail, ensuring this game is the best it can be. I’m proud to say that I’m already looking beyond the climactic battle with Malthera. It’s exciting to think about what comes next—because this world doesn’t just mean everything to me; I know it means something to all of you as well.
Today, I’ve been feeling under the weather, took the day off, and honestly, I feel awful. But even on days like this, the thought of my work keeps me going. More importantly, knowing that this is something my kids can enjoy means the world to me.
So, what’s next? There’s a lot in store—a lot more action, a deeper dive into fantasy, and perhaps even a new sidekick for the great adventurer Drakhan. Maybe the evil witch returns? Or maybe the kingdom finds itself in peril once more? My mind is already racing with ideas. A world connected by mysterious mirrors? A descent into a shadow realm? I want this next chapter to be perfect.
In the meantime, I’ll be expanding the story in the coming days—once I’ve had a chance to recharge. I also have some videos to make, showcasing gameplay and discussing the game in more detail. I might even do a full playthrough or a Let’s Play.
But for now, that’s enough for tonight. I need to rest and recover—because when I’m back at it, I plan to knock it out of the park.
Until next time, adventurers—keep following the light of your lantern.
